Bought it free with my camera
Hi guys, was searching for filters for my the pancake as well. Word of advice.........stay FAR FAR away fm the Vitacon. Totally unsable. Images taken are not sharp and also flares like nobody business. Really regret the purchase now.
Does anyone know where to find 46mm Hoya or B+W? If really can't find, then will be ordering from Amazon liao.........
For friends who still comparing the price around the town, get yours as soon as u feel that u really like the camera.
It's not worth to put so many effort on comparing around and try to get the cheapest one. let's say, spent so many days googling for just to save few bucks?
Since we alrdy known what's the Panasonic suggested retail price, it's SGD1499. For those friends out there they may get a lower price is not as easy as u read from them. Maybe it's an promotion event or maybe they are the shops regular customer or some kind of members so they do will get some extra discount.
At other point, lets say if you do found a shop with super cheap price, SGD900? And u sure will struggling again with even more question, is the product really is brand new? is the product is officially recognize and warranty...?
Of coz it's good to do enough research before make decision, same to mebut if you'd alrdy decided. Why still struggling try to get the most benefit one? Since you also know that this bargain things will never comes to an end. All price for gadgets sure will drop from time to time (the cheapest moment is when upcoming model launch...).
But do you realize that, when you are still googling around, comparing around, walk to so many shops, at the end just get an extra tripod / freebies? It's just not worth for it...
In other side, ppl who with own judgement, alrdy having fun with the camera, discovering every features, sharing enjoyments with friends...
So, go with your heart for what you really like
P.S. Above article is just my personal point of view, if it was causes any disagree. I apologize in advance. It's really an enjoyment with GF1, happy shooting~

i chose the black one coz i couldn't decide between the red & white. :sweatsm:
Have you checked if the AF is accurate?I am a Canon User since 2002. Finally got myself a m4/3 GF-1. Love the size and feel.Lighter than G10 but EP-1's bulit seems stronger. Nevertheless will test out soon.
AF speed is good (one top reason I choose this rather than Ep-1)
MSC is not very good.my cousin came back from CP & MSC told me their svs is below par.....he said the best is still j316. you can guess he bought his beloved GF1 dual lens, of cos from j316.
is the 14-45 readily available?
Both on its own or as part of kit/dual kit.
Thanks!
