Getting Dimage 7Hi

I think it is meant to compete with E-20 ... which is about S$2400 ... so ... I do feel that Minolta produces good cameras. But f you do not need the additional features ... you can try the 7i ... which is really not that bad ... if it wasn't for the color ... sigh

i'm considering the E20P and a 7Hi. Anyone can shed some light on which is better?

How is the shutter lag on the 7Hi?

There are pro and cons for both but I think the Minolta 7Hi has more features then the Oly ... It is also cheaper.

I think the Oly is a little too heavy ... 1kg right ?

I think this would be very personal ... the choice I mean as the price is also quite different among the 2 cams.

Post it under photo galleries section under the respective sub-section like Macro & closeup and landscape, cityscape, travel, etc.
Btw I think your macro shots are out of focus. Try to use your manual focus if auto-focus fails.

Thank you so much that u actually take some time to have a look.

Is the out-of-focus caused by the 2X Digital Zoom? I used manual focus alright and the LCD showed good enough.

I dun think it is caused by the digital zoom. Digital zoom will only make the images look noisier. Did u zoom in all the way when u inspect the images on LCD screen during playback? Most images will appear sharp when they are small. :)
