Getting a Rangefinder

Hey people, stop arguing and let money talks. If you have enough money to spend on a Leica I say why not just go get it, its just money after all, you can always earn it again or sell the Leica at profit or loss just like most things you buy in life.

If however at this point buying a Leica system will hurt your wallet then don't buy, or else you are just being stupid, plain and simple. There are so many other RF system out there which takes very good photos. After all, I'm sure many excellent photos that you like has no indication of the equipment used.

Where can i find Russian rangefinders. I am thinking for starting on film.

Just come back for Pennsulia. find 2 leica M2 and 35mm camera for the price for $2350 and M4-2 at $2600. Are they good price.

Dear Nicholas, I got my FED3B and KIEV4 from an ebay auction, Ukrainan seller (Ukraina is the motherland of these sturdy cameras): they work perfectly, I am enjoying them a lot and I spent only 30 EUR each (postage duties included!). Of course the cameras are equipped with their original lenses USSR made (perfect clones of Zeiss Sonnar/Tessar).
I suggest you to consider them, as it is a smart and small investment but you can get wonderful cameras.

I have absolutely no desire to carry on discussions on this issue, particularly in private, since it is abundantly clear that you are not capable of logical reasoning.

It is not a question of not accepting others opinion. It is that your line of reasoning is so utterly ridiculous that I wonder what manner of encephalon resides in your cranium.

Frankly I do not care a S**T about how you or anyone think of me.

I write on points and reasonings.

If anyone wants to engage me, then use his brains. If he turns out to be a moron, I will not hesistate to point out that he is a moron. I am sarcastic and I tolerate no fools.

The reason why the threads degenerate is my fault?

Look at this thread alone. If you have the capacity to read properly, start from what I wrote, and see how things developed. Now let me assume that you have some vestige of logical resoning. Let us start with post #30.

In posst #30, I wrote to advise readers to heed Wisp's comments. Was there anything offensive there?

In post #42, I responded to what szekiat wrote about being "anal". I wrote to explain that not everyone is 'anal" about minutae of lens differences.

In post #45, I responded to szekiat's comments in post 44. I took great pains to explain a little study I did comparing Canon L and Leica, trying to explain that minutae does not matter.

But szekiat came back with his nonsense. Now when szekiat showed himself to be a fool, I will not hesistate to confirm that.

I do not know you are and I do not care a damn. And if you want me to confirm your status, I will gladly do so. But I have already long decided that you are not worth the time I spend writing this post.
