Recently just dig out..
Does anyone how to verify if the wallet is genuine?

If bought from Paris then it should be genuine. But if you wanna be sure, can go to those shops that deal with 2nd hand branded goods. They will be able to tell.

Can go LV shop to ask? wonder will they entertain.

They usually will. Tell them u got a gift from someone and wanna know if it's authentic. There is a serial number in your wallet. Just search for it.
