Gear Tests: Cinematic look on an APSC?

Fan of your works now Jace, let me know how the cast on the filter works out for u.

Thanks for the kind words.

It is only possible when clients give creative freedom to the videographers. haha.

The color cast for the Haida is more towards green. It's more manageable since Sony (the camera i used) tilts towards red. The green helps to bring the skin tone to a more natural looking as compared to other ND filters i used. Again, I haven't been using many other brands of ND filters on videos to give a good take on it. On the overall, I am happy with the ND filters I got.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm no video guy at all whatsoever but I have read that old manual focus Leica R type lenses on Canon's have a really nice vintage 70s movie look to them. Any of you bros know anything about this?

I tried with the Voigtlander 30 mm F1.4 Lens is nice but not for run and gun.

I just realised that APSC is probably a good sensor size for the "cinematic look" since its close in size to Super35..
