which is you ?

One day it'll surely be just a box but for now and until I find the ultimate one body lens combo, I think I still want to fiddle around :)

In short, yes and sadly, i'm a gear head too!

Why isn't there a "Noob" box? I think i'll belong there. :D

i'm karung guni type, I collect scrap metal and glass :D

Alamak! I too poor to be gear head and too lousy to be image-maker! =D

I am worse than a Sunday shooter. I only shoot when I am on holidays. Else most part of the year they stay in my cabinets hibernating.

I've stopped buying gear. Nowadays i'm lucky to have time to shoot. But every overseas holiday is a great opportunity to shoot.

I've learnt a few things in my time:

1. Pictures determined by user not the gear
2. The more gear, the greater the distraction
3. Every gear you buy can if saved pay for air ticket and holiday somewhere to take pictures
4. Film is better than digital
5. A small and light lens is always better than big ass heavy lens
6. Stop thinking about gear, think about thr image

my heart still beats faster when i see gears...

gear is merely a means to an end. at least that's what I tell myself ;)

when I was using the Canon system, I bought gears on a monthly basis..... then I changed to Leica, and I stopped buying after the initial rounds! Why? Firstly, I can't afford to keep buying. Secondly, the few lens you have, because of the quality, you are satisfied!

I acquire gears to help me make good images :)

I originally want to make great photos but it turned out that I am a gear lover.
