Looks a lil under to me leh...hmm...personally...don't feel the old-ish feeling you set out to capture...

The 1st pic...a lil kindof messy lor...the subject I suppose is the pavillian?...Maybe try to isolate the subject by taking the shot from a lower angle?...so the roof don't merge with the froliage in the foreground?

The 2nd pic...hmm...maybe its under lor...the bench seems to merge into the background...from the exif...its 1/30s...maybe should open up the aperture to bring up the shutter...donno if the softness is due to OOF or camera shake...

heh...just my 2 cents...
