You need to understand the whole story to fully understand. Its a political game folks there are playing. Too bad, many people fail to understand and jump based on face value. IMO, it's to rouse sentiments of a particular race, and start a hate game.
Why stop the aid ship?
Israel's stand is to stop shipment of weaponry. Israel propose the shipment to go Haifa, checked and go via land route to Gaza, but aid people doesn't want that.
As a matter of fact, Gaza strip borders Israel and Egypt.
Why don't go via Egypt?
Because Israel and Egypt block the borders in order to deny weaponry going in.
Problem is, when UN step in, there'll be cease fire. Then folks in Gaza will fire rockets across border, and Israel will retaliate. So, everyone including Egypt think the best to peace is to prevent rockets or weaponry from going in.
The hate and war there dates a long time back, all because its holy land to two religion. Its not a race thing, but religion, if you goes back to history.

Trojan horse is used to break the enemy from the inside, in this case, I don't see how the ship fits the definition.
well done israel. the whole world is anti semitic and lacks common sense. Everytime israel does something, it is always condemned even though it's right.
Last i checked, Egypt bordered Palestine. Why break the blockade and insist on going against the set rules?

exactly... why go look for trouble where there are other delivery methods. it is not like the cargo contained perishable goods.

i know but seems like they are carrying legit goods and are crying foul over the raid. so, if carrying legit goods... why want to break blockade and risk getting shot at? stupid it seems...

Why must Palestine need Israel's permission to use its own port? Why must Palestine need Israel's permission to build a nation? Why must Palestine need Israel to recognise its democratically elected government (Hamas)? Even the US didn't cross over to China during the Korea War, but Israel moved into Lebanon, a sovereign state, to destroy the Hizabollah.
Sorry, I cannot empathise with a country that shows total disregard of other nations' sovereignty.
