Peapilot quite acceptable but evenstar ,u are not newbie right ? I judge from your photo and equipment ?
most >30 is none newbie photographer so far,the age requirement just to be careful.
Main requirement is the skill, for newbie,newbie.(

The "newbie rating" just come from me since how come lot good photographers think they are newbie. If u don't accept it,nevermind,it's just me,i have no power over you. Tell me, i take ur rating down.

just posted a thread for the first time! haha.. im confirm a newbie. hope this runs as a support grp to get us going!My Rig is down. Using my Lappie, think may not be very well calibrated yet. Hope they turned out well.

i v.bored right now. let me suggest some locations for shooting general photography?
here is a few locations for a start..
1. Punggol.. (there had been a few threads on it, had went on a small self exploring last week)
2. Raffles Place (weekend morning is the best!! ghost town.. lol..)
3. Little India (afternoon/evening seems a good time to go)
4. Botanic Gardens/Chinese Garden (landscape/abstracts/macro?)
5. places of interest eg. jurong bird park/night safari/zoo
here is a few locations for a start..

Hmm..
i think most of them are feasible except places of interest cause it's not cheap and not accessible to most of us. and think not many have macro lens
