nope... haiz... I'm renting a 24-70L to cover my friend ROM... now thinking of renting a wide one, perhaps something that can shoot below 15mm... urgently looking around, you got any lobang?

Hmm.. i dont know any ppl with lens under 15mm one, the one i knew i know is 16-35L.. But think your 18mm should be enough for the ROM bah, since it's not a wedding dinner, wont have those space constraints.

hope so... anyway, I guess most of the time I'll be mounting the 24-70, 'cos can take wide and zoom at the same time... occassionally switching to my 18mm for a few wider shots

if ur talking about say 3-5. not so bad. But if u say like 8 and above. And all doing street photgraphy. Unless its like scattered around properly its ok. If not have to look out for Police, and unfriendly "aliens"

Usually around festive seasons, more problems will arise thus the increase in police patrol activities. I've been stopped a couple of times in town already. And though i was only doing general stree photography, i was made to show them all my photos. Dunno why also :dunno:

I also carry my d50 in orchard area many times do street photo but none happen leh ? I also see a lot of guys use Canon dslr over there.
Don't worry lah,according to the law,we are in public place so we are not doing any wrong things unless u go inside wheelock place or any plaza to shoot, turn out different. Anyway, our street outing won't be a lot lah ,will have limited number. We can also blend with the tourists.
But careful,shooting at night need tripod --> will got people watch u in place like orchard or any crowded place.
