YES! Finally, LowLights! Welcome to the bandwagon of 'naughty' IR shooters.
Good golden hue.
Just a few small blocks of buildings on the 9 o'clock, 10 o'clock, 11 o'clock, 12 o'clock, half-past-12-o'clock --> just tampa a little bit of masks on them...;)
... and the whole picture is complete!

woah.... where's this place at?

Black - Nope. These are all good things. Nothing to feel d*mn about. ;)
Blue - It's fated. Our (all these good brothers in IR/Macro/Landscape/Travel) paths crossed and have somehow become entangled. Another good thing.
Green - if it's something you have to do, then it's something you have to do. Don't complain!
Red - that is what the unearthly hours of the mornings are for - Post Processing!

Haha I also stay 26.. I should try Take IR and PP the view, then limwhow can touchup lol...

You should since you have a vantage view ..

Me .. I going to have to get a wide angle and reshoot ..

limwhow .. how does a Tokina 11-16 sound to you :bsmilie:

Cool, Whats the price for that lens?

Tokina 11-16mm??!!!
Haiyah.. fancy you ask me about this lens.
It's a GREAT lens for normal colour landscape photography.
But for my Hoya R72 on the Canon 20D, it was utterly hopeless!!!
HOTSPOT ALL THE WAY!

You better test out the Nikon Mount on your ELP first.
Why? Let me explain to you why:

  • some people have found that certain IR filters give hotspot while another IR filter on the same machine doesn't - using the same lens. Thus if I were to change my Hoya R72 to say, a cheap China brand R72-like filter, maybe (only maybe) the hotspot will disappear, even on the Tokina 11-16mm.
  • For some reasons, some have found that for the same filter, same lens but on different makes of the camera (e.g. Nikon and Canon) there will be different results in terms of hotspots. I know SurrealDreamWalker uses the Tokina 11-16mm on his Nikon IR. And he has no hotspot. So you got to confirm with him.
  • And finally, you are using the ELP. Apparently better in terms of hotspot problem. This, the best person to confirm with again, is our good Chief Engineer.

I had wanted to ask you for a few days liao

I remember we were suppose to buy it together or something like that

Damn got hot spot on your setup ya .. looks like I best test it out .. but dangerous leh .. test with D50 .. then later D90 mod .. got hot spot then :faint:

But I need a wider angle for the coming trip .. hmm .. :dunno:

Edit :
Chief Engineer .. he better pray that the filter quickly come .. else I will start throwing bricks at him .. hahaha
