ben...

that bird shot...nice...and well worth it for that 20mins of being in the mud...

oh...abt the format of posting and etc... no worries...until the moderator tells me to buzz off... i'll decide what to do.... it's a gallery, no? hahaha... there will always be children with little manners in any forum...i learn that a long time ago...

by the way...PM you about what we were discussing...

cheers :)

the idea of this thread is to showcase wat a typical consumer-grade lens can do. one pic per lens per CSer should suffice.

wat you did was to showcase your own pics.

after a quick search, you posted close to 40 images here, you do turn this thread into a personal gallery.

here's my take from Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6 ED. hope it rings the bell to TS;)

Glad you like the lens, though it pained me to see it go, it was better to be in loving hands rather than sitting in the dry cabi.

Wanted to post a photo also done by the same exact lens 70-300ED here but gallery is closed for maintenance. Another time I'd edit this post and add the photo.

My picture was taken with my 5 year-old AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED and my latest D7000.... I hope I didn't turn this thread into a personal gallery.... sorry... cheers!

Hi unclemichael & papajanggo33, I suppose 75-300mm is one of the good old lens. With right lighting (flash or sunlight) it’ll be able to produce great pictures. I feel that push pull is much faster in zooming and focusing, regretted selling it away.

you sold it away:o should have keep it for those who need it. sad to say where i've seen, people these days generally die die must have VR/OS/VC to shoot.when i 1st started out, the kit lens was the only one with VR which i seldom use. it's more of a technique coupled with practice to get the shots like yours. just my opinion though
