Hi guys,

yesterday i brought Gakkenflex from kino, went home and fix it. but someway and somehow i am left with 2 screw after i fix with the top cover and having diffculty taking it out.

any kind soul can tell me how to take it out?
Thank you

Why do you want to take it out?

Take it out? Are you trying to tell us that you have 2 extra screws after you finished the assembly ... and now wanna take it apart to check where those 2 screws were suppose to go?

Hard to say. I've heard cases of missing parts, so extra parts is also possible. Why not try using it first and see if all is well?

alright will try to use it tonight and see how

thanks

I've got an extra screw after I've assembled my gakkenflex. Mine works well for a few films without any problems. If you follow the instructions, you should be alright.

can i ask how to take the film out when i finish shooting?? since the films are all coiled at the other side..

To rewind the film, just turn the rewind knob in the direction of the arrow. This is the knob at the bottom left corner if your gakkenflex lens is facing away from you.

wad i meant was how do u wind the films back into the film cannister after fully taken all 36 shots? sorry for the misleading questions..

Please read the reply carefully. You do realise there are two knobs on the gakkenflex? One on the right and the other on the left. The right knob is for you to wind the film when you've taken a picture. The one on the left near the bottom is for you to rewind your film once you have finished taking all your shots. On the left knob, there is an indication with an arrow pointing towards a certain direction. Wind that once you have finished your film. When you feel no resistance after winding, the film strip is safely in the film canister and you are ready to take out your film.

Sorry to hijack this thread, is thirtysix still has any stock of this diy camera?

Hi,Left with 2 extra screws after fixing up the Gakkenflex.Page 26 & 27 of the accompanied magazine no.25 resolves the issue of film advance and flatness of film, also a template of focussing distance for viewing /focussing wheel.Has helps for focussing calibration of close ups thru infinity. Made a fatal error of mounting the wrong side of the mirror.Resulting desilver of mirror, ends up a spoilt mirror. Fortunately got it replaced with a mirror from a k.o. slr camera. Now it's working.

mine is just assembly yesterday, there is 2 extra screw.

Ermm ... call them? ;)

Open up carefully and check if there are any that you forgot. Otherwise, just shoot and see if there is any problem. :)
