Hope u enjoy. i personally thought the Gakkenflex is a very fun camera.

#1 mix looks pretty good.

how long was your shutter open rougly?

Utterly Amazing.
I have my kit on order!
Number 1 took my breath away,
and those last 4 are just surreal.

PLEASE Do tell how this TLR can be converted into allowing for bulb mode,
Your's is the first place I have seen anywhere on the web where anyone has tried it!
I am dying to know!!!
Peace
Lmack

yeah i do not remember any 'bulb' on the gakkenflex ... may i know how did u do it?

btw, where did u guys got ur kit from?

see this short sample video i shot in a rush.

There is no special modification needed to have "Bulb" mode for the Gakken Flex DIY toy camera. Fix the camera AS PER NORMAL. In the video, you will see that by flicking the switch normally will be how the shutter fires as per normal, probably like 1/150second. Now the trick to get bulb mode is very easy. Flickr the switch down SLOWLY! in my video you will hear a faint click sound , that's one of the plastic parts catching onto the shutter. Once u hear this sound, SLOWLY release the shutter switch to aproximately 90degree (take note of my finger position). Now you will see that it slowly pushes the shutter open. Hold your hand at the correct position and shutter will remain fully open untill u let go. To have sharp sharps, obviously u need a tripod or stable ground and make sure camera is not moved.

NOTE: Do take note all this is possible if the camera is fixed NORMALLY.
