i paid for registered airmail $2.90, it wasn't clear how fast it would take, i think they have an office/warehouse in singapore, coz i remember seeing the ship address somewhere in ubi? i could be lucky they had stocks of what i needed, i ordered 5 different items.

Bro, ur lens hood screwed all the way in? I jus bought from another csnapper n when i screw in its not balance. The vents r not symetrical. Pls advice, thanks

Jus got myself a silver b+w uv filter from bhphoto. And also a retro hood. And what is so good about the retro hood???

It gives me a vignetting effect! Lol. So for u guys who r thinking of getting it for your 12mm, it won't work

lol, thanks for heads up! was looking at somethg like this, the original is just too costly but of course it's plastic vs metal, and the wordings is quite a turn off:bsmilie: the chance of vignette is probably lesser too.

The vignetting effect is pretty bad. Basically the pix become circular. Looking at it, it's like a fisheye lens now! Woo hoo, cheap alternative to fisheye lens... LOL
