Hey Swishbrade,
my grip doesn't seems to stick well to the camera... Any recommendation on any appropriate double sided tape to replace the one given by them ?

I used an alcohol swab to clean the camera as instructed b4 pasting it on worked fine for me I'd recommend u use "3M" brand its the best in the adhesive market

Hey! Watsup! Did you clean the area on the camera (where you stick the grip) before putting on the grip? Sometimes if there is oil/dirt it doesnt stick well. I swabbed the area with alcohol before sticking it on too.

You have to make sure that it is aligned properly as well. Try going to the lensmate website and look at a large picture of a grip to make sure yours is aligned the same way.

But if all fails, I would try to go to a hardware shop (Homefix etc) and look for the thinnest heavy duty 3M double-sided tape they have. Should work well.

thats great man..! =) lensmate's definitely recommended..personally own both lensmate n original canon lens adapter.. =) as compared, other 3rd party adapters are totally incomparable n horrible.. ;p

I'll stick to a G9 till the price of the G10 comes down maybe even wait for a G11 !!! No point being the 1st to buy 1) Expensive 2) might have bugs 3) polly can get a DSLR for the new price of a G10 = )

Currently using emolux and regretted it since it does not snug and fit into the camera body. Or kindly let me know which store sells that particular item.

im using an emolux as well til i get a lensmate hehe

i dont mind it not being snug fit, its not that loose unless you twist it. even if i grab the camera by the tube, it doesnt move

i hate the markings though... looks so cheap :-(
