when will canon release the 24mm wide instead 36mm

I still have 1 more screen protector specifically for G9. It covers up till the surrounding space of the actual screen. Let me know if anyone wants to grab it! ;)

Update: Sold! :)

Can the G9 take good action photos? I'm still considering between a prosumer and budget DSLR...

i am impress with fuji f50fd looking at the resolution chart.
though i have not seen the noise comparison between f50 and g9, but looking at the track record, i will have to say f50 will win both hands down.

quite disappointed with g9 after seeing this.

Fujifilm F50fd is simply a P&S camera while Canon G9 has more manual control. Every compact digital camera has it Pros & Cons. Until now, I have not find a perfect digital camera where DSLR or compact digital. Perhaps that day will never happen but we need to look forward to see which fits our needs best.

anyone know where to get rechargeable battery for my G3 , is there after market brands?

Anyone bought the lensmate adapter for G9? :)

Can anyone recommend a leather case for the G9? Thanks!

I did buy the 52nm lens adapter for S2IS from them. The built was very solid. However, the shipping cost is a bit high.......

A good feature in G9. The built-in ND filter allow 3 stops slower shutter.
This is taken by handheld, ISO80, 1/15s, f/8.

Why do you prefer this rather than Canon's adapter? Guess the price should be about the same and you can get it in Singapore without shipping cost.:o

Actually I like the "grip" design more than the canon one. Also the material, lensmate is made of aluminium. I have hold on to canon once...kind of "plastic". Don't really like it.

BUT.... I won't be getting be buying so soon. :bsmilie::bsmilie: No $ now~ ;p

Hi, guys, going to get G9 this weekend, one question, is 2G sd card enough? Or i need to get another 4G SHDC card? how much about that?

In my own personal humble opinion, one can never have enough of memory space. you'll never know when you'll actually need it.
;)

Very subjective question. It depends on whether you shoot like a machine gunner or a sniper... Personally I find that a 2GB card is more than enough for a whole day outing. Although as the last poster said, it doesn't hurt to have more storage. Though maybe better to have 2 x 2GB cards instead of a single 4GB card. If the one card fails or gets lost, you don't lose all your pictures.

Its good to make it a habit to download all the photos into the computer at the end of the day. So, you will have a empty card everytime u start. Its good to have 2 x 2GB. Many plus points for that extra card. No harm one.

I'm using 4 + 1 :)
Just in case.

I thinking of going for the FREE canon workshop for G9...its free for new purchase. Valid for 4 months only. Anyone interested?
