FZriends Thread (FZ18 & FZ28 users and ex-users group - part II)

Today was one of those days I have spoken about before. One of those days when the weather is fine the tides should be favorable but nobody told the fish!
Twelve hours in the boat and only catfish (yuk) and 4 stone-fish (scary). I have been hesitant about taking the camera out in the boat but I might as well, one day there will be a hot bite on and I will want to capture it.
Today it helped kill the boredom.

Stuck at low tide for four hours, no bite, that is a crocodile trap left high and dry.

All shot with aperture priority at f 9 1/125 sec. Was quite worried and put camera back in bag after each shot, should have bought it out last week, we caught lots but catching fish makes me forget about photos.

since there's a close knit community here and not so much real technical discussions going on, is everyone here ok if i move this thread to KPT and everything can go on from there?

Hi Mod,

Apologies if we have been posting on the board that is not most appropriate. If you feel that it is more suited in a KPT section, please feel free to move us there, however I hope that the other members can easily be relinked there as we wouldn't want any of our friends to lose touch with us due to the movement. Will there be a convenient way to do that?

Anyway FZ series its really a nice camera for people
who wants to venture into photography....
my first was a 2nd hand FZ-5 then i upgraded to a FZ-28...
i learned quite alot of basics....
but its almost time for me to move on...

look like fz sales gonna go down... was using nikon d90... and look into nikon section...and wat i saw is really all sort of mess... no direct d90 sub forum to directly ask query...

The drop in price of dslr really "kills" the FZ market. Having said that, I still love & "respect" my FZ50... :thumbsup:

Ahh, I haven't been posting pictures for so long. Been doing a mass cleanup of my computer so instead of taking pictures, I have been deleting them =X

Yup this place has dead-en a little, what's everyone been up to? Busy busy I suppose.
