My set-up is: D90 + Kenko 1.4x converter + 70-200 VRI f2.8. I put ISO at 250, f.5.6 & shutter speed 400. The system is mounted on Tripod. One thing to note is that I select Vivid mode with max Sharpness & Contrast.

Tonight the moon is also 100% full. So happy shooting!

This is very impressive. Many thanks for sharing the details. I thought it was shot with a 600 mm lens or something..
