There are too many websites with different facts a figures, this says 22MP another says 18MP sensor, i wouldnt read to much into yet, also different prices quoted one website says 6000USD, here it says 8000USD. I guess we shall have to just wait untill Nikon releases info on it then we will know whats what.

Nikon has given a commitment statement to the DX format for the next xx (i remember being 10, not sure of exact numbers) in a trade show (last year i think) and they foresee DX as the format for the near future. I doubt they'll shoot themselves in the leg and come out with a FF anytime soon. Where's the commitment then?

Actually, if they use the current D2X sensor, at 1.0x crop, it would be closer to 27MP

Relax, man! That pics look familiar to me. seem to recall it sometime ago before the D200 was launched.

We know you are a fulltime canon supporter, but no need to be so hostile. Afterall, it is photography we are interested in. The type of equipment should not force people to make such remarks.

Beware the puffer fish stings!

dude when i saw the shape it was ROFLMAO :bsmilie: ..seriously whatever brand it is (it can be leica or olympus for all i care) , it still looks like a pufferfish...and its very risky cos the kids will want to play around and hug it like a softtoy...lolzzz:bsmilie:
