Sorry to hijack this thread, as I don wish to create another thread just to ask a simple question.

Can I check, how does the IQ and ISO performance of the A850 compares to A700/A500/A550?

The IQ and ISO of those 3 APS-C DSLRs are really very good, will an A850 be better or just similar?

Straight out of Cam - the 7xx 5xx series performs better - if you toss the raw files of the 8xx/9xx into a good Raw processor. Then it becomes close. I think D3X represents the higher edge of what the A850/A900 sensor can do, thus, a rumored pending firmware upgrade might be the answer. :think:
