Fujifilm X-Pro1

Don't know if it's me, but I find that the cameras is able to lock focus more in low light when using c. AF than s. AF .

Tried focusing on a white wall and amazingly it managed to lock focus about 90% of the time . Switched to s. AF and could hardly lock at all.

Can any owners test to see if c. AF improves AF lock rate ?

FUJI X-PRO 1 - comparison with Sony NEX-7 by soundimageplus:

Soundimageplus: FUJI X-PRO 1 - comparison with Sony NEX-7

the fuji images (upsized to match nex size) looks much cleaner and don't have that fuzzy/artificial look/sheen (for a lack of a better term) that ive come to expect from digital images... looks like the aa filter is the culprit, mebbe is why the fuji produces some of the most organic looking ooc jpegs

Looks too high for comfort imo. The thumb grip on the cam is sufficient for me.

Appreciate some tips on how to use the panoramic auto stitch feature on the X-Pro1. TIA

guys, any casing recommendation?
i found one call recoil, but from japan site

Artwork foto selling for 29**

Just a question, does the X-pro1 and their xf lens ever suffer from front / back focusing problem which require calibration? I am asking because i tried to google on this but return nothing. It seems the x-pro1 and the xf lens are either perfectly calibrated in factory or there is something built inside to curb this issue found in DSLR body or lens (or course if not calibrated properly).

Thanks for heads-up. You got from them? I've not dealt with them before.
Forgot to mention the price I mentioned includes 16Gb SD + screen protector.

Its using CDAF. Its not supposed to have FF/BF as focusing is WYSIWYG on the sensor/EVF.

wow that is a good price, mind sharing the shop name?

That was the price I was quoted back when it first came out in mid march, though I ended up getting it for lower.
