Fujifilm X-Pro1

Hi guys. I find the image quality is too sharp and harsh. Is there anyway to solve this? Filter? Thanks.

You can always change Sharpness setting in the menu to -1 or -2

Hi, any suggestion where should I get my hand on one..and which lens is more recommended for street photography?

I personally uses the 35mm for street photography.

Eh No. It was easy enough to half press the shutter release anyway.

In that case, borrow or buy a 12 dollars one from TK Photo Cam-in is the brand. When you do use it, you will understand why the shutter soft release helps a lot.

Easy, of course it is without soft release. Precision is the thing we are aiming to achieve here.

I'm going to get a x-pro1 from Japan soon , anyone knows if the body from Japan comes with English menu ?

Lack of IQ ? Xpro-1 IQ is no doubt very good, but is it really that much better ? To be honest, deep in our hearts we all know why the Xpro-1 is so attractive. So much so , that we are willing to ignore its short comings.

Put the same sensor, same evf, same interface , in a different body shell -- I wonder will we love it as much as before ?

I disagree leh.... A sensor with IQ where u beat 5dm2 hands down ?? That's all it need to convince me....not to mention the size

I guess hands down margin is usually subjective. Noise performance is not the only indicator to assess a sensor performance as well....

Anyway it's all about preference cheers

cheers mate...have a nice weekend

dpreview's first impression is out.

Just managed to try the XP1 with the 35mm f1.4.

What an awesome camera! I don't know why people are complaining its too light. With the lens it feel just right. Also the AF speed was pretty good. Not blazing DSLR speed but quite decent and reliable.

The biggest surprise was the MF. So nice to use and the FBW focus ring was very responsive when turned quickly while allowing fine tuning adjustments with smaller movements.

Need to get one to complement my X100!

after 2 days of using the x-pro1, one thing I dislike is the 35mm lens aperture blade chattering annoying sound....kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!k ic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!...It happens when the lighting changes.. kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!kic!
Since that I love street photography...this is NO good for street photography leh.:( sad
