Just realised that you're the same person posted in X100s. Congrat on your decision to buy X-E2 and i must say it's a good upgrade from your d40x in term of size, image and camera quality. Quite a few of us here actually sold off our Dslr after using Fuji X cameras for some good reasons.
Since you're going to Iceland, don't forget to get yourself a extra batteries, sdcard/laptop, small portable light tripod, remote shutter trigger and some good filters if you don't already own one. It may be once in a lifetime experience so capture as many picture as possible.

I was wondering for the filters where do I get them for the xe 2? I had always thought it would be a program filter option ONLY.. :/ didn't find any physical filters for the camera itself..


FYI as I was in love with x100s I might just get the 23mm? Lens hehe

I presume you mean those UV filters you put on the front of your lens? If so, any camera shop will do. Or when u collect your X-E2, just buy the filter from the shop you got your camera from.

Hey guys in case you guys need update I got a call to confirm color liao.. Should get by Friday.. Fingers crossed.. My lovely mummy booked a night on Saturday for me birthday at mbs will be taking photos and sharing ^^

Don worry not of me but I will be testing architecture shots ( anti liasing ) ; low light; and rhe usual macro etc sorry still pretty noob to photography terms but ye! Can't wait

Ya I check with slrrevo again and they say unlikely will be today. I think all shops are quite vague about the actual date of arrival. What they can say is either end of this week or before Christmas.
