Not yet:(
Already got some serious CA problem when taking photos especially at bright sunlight.
Need to be careful not to take any too high dynamic range photos to avoid that;p

Guys, anybody here managed to find a working external flash for S100FS? I've looked around and the shops seemed to have only this brand called Sunblitz available. Is it good? How do we tell if a manual flash has good cycle time? I've searched online and found out that the brand Sunpak, Vivitar and Metz have single pin auto/manual flashes that can be used with S100FS but I cannot find them in the shops I went so far. Any ideas guys?

I'm using a SB-28 with the S100FS.
It's slightly of an overkill as the TTL functions are not used.
One benefit I have noticed is the high GN on the SB-28. Recommended. :)

The TTL pins won't be shorted when mounted on he S100FS? How much is this SB-28?

No, it won't. I use the SB-28 on my Nikon F3 for years without problems.

Price should be around $300 for an used one.

Yup. No issue, cos the trigger voltage for the SB_28 is ard 3.5v, within the safety range of the S100FS.

As for the extra pins meant for the TTL, they would not cause a outrage as there are no contact points to them from the camera. :)

updates guys. S100FS is in LIMITED quantities from holland v parisilk. Comes with 2GB lexar card. Price: CP and AP both jaw drop when i told them the price when they asked. i was getting spare batteries, UV filter and camera case there.

No worries, the TTL pins woulds not be shorted.
I have an Old SB15 and it works.
using it at ASA 200 / f 5.6 in manual mode.

What is the safety range of the trigger voltage? I can't seem to find it in the manual.

I used to work at Holland Village a few years ago and have bought some stuff from Parisilk Holland Village. Their main customers are expatriates and their friends and family members who come to visit Singapore.

Always ask the price of the products with GST as they will usually quote the price of the products without GST.

HTH.
