My take: X-T20 priced too low. Look at the flagship model of another mirrorless model recently launched for comparison , $2899 body alone or another one at $9950 which isn't a flagship mode (cries)
Don't say bojio!
The classic duo that started it all, the X-Pro1 and XF35/1.4 combination is going at $1199 nett.
This promotion only from 11-28 Feb, at FUJIFILM Studio in Suntec, on a while stocks last basis
hi bros, I agree with u up to an certain extent.
However to be fair, Fujifilm SG's pricing policies is often not in their own control and demanded upon by HQ in Tokyo. I had too expected a <$2k pricing but well, the USD came in and here we now have $2099. It is also good to understand the product placement (the X100F is a top-end model in Fujifilm's hierarchy and the only one other the X-Pro to have a hybrid OVF/EVF system).
ck2201 is right in that the X100T is going to be a popular alternative which I agree is a perfectly sound comment. Sometimes we have to look at our own needs / budget before deciding to gun for the most expensive model for starters. I've friends still using the X100 (Gen1) for example.
On the other hand, those who are sure of their choice and demands won't feel much forking out the price for a X100F.

Question: Why are Fujifilm prices in the US always so much cheaper than in Sg?
Eg XT20 (body) is USD899 at amazon now. With the conversion rate now, it's only about $1257. That's a whopping $200+ difference.
Hmm, bro, it's a 'you think' coming to reasons for the pricing.
I think in all to put things in a nutshell, it's their job to ensure consumers feel their worth in investing in a brand, irregardless of the pricing, and they have to work it out.
Every brand have their own culture and of course , issues and strengths.
Were you there for the GFX launch on Fri at Suntec? To me, someone who have been to many launches from various brands , the relationship between present users were already valuable in itself.
And in this respect coming to value, every brand can do better.
