Seeking advise on taking fireworks photos. Took some photos at a recent NDP rehearsal and most photos turn out pretty bad. I was using ISO400 DR200 6M and shutter speed of 1/8.

There should be a fireworks mode in SP option (on dial) but you will need a tripod.
It will set to smallest aperture and ISO 100 and 4 seconds exposure.
I have also use my F72EXR (similiar controls as F200EXR) for shooting the fireworks.

@evenstar : thanks. i just called up fujiflim. they ask me to bring it down. takes about 2-3 weeks to fix it.. tsk. disappointed.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where i can get a decent pouch for the F200?

Something not that bulky yet offering adequate protection from knocks.

Budget around $30.

Don't really like the original pouch that came with the F200.

Thanks bros :)

I saw a quite hard case and can put through the belt @ NTUC Xtra only 10.90 very good quality.

Same as You....
I bought a S200EXR 6 months ago and after using for 2 days, the system dead and not able to start even I replaced with a New fully charged battery.

Bring all the way to Fuji service centre at that stupid far away from the west. Upon arrival, met the counter girl and she does a simple test and told me it need about 2 weeks and that was urgent as I bought it for my friend wedding. No much help and I finally spoken to the manager incharge and was told the same thing.

This is the lesson learn and I never buy Fuji again even a GEM F200EXR, I rarther buy myself a Canon S90 that also produce good IQ and low light shot perfect beside this I knew I will be getting a more and better after sales service from Canon.
Of course this is (My own opinion only)

if you happened to get a ferrari/lamborghini and the same thing happens, you'll boycott them also?

Fuji service centre is maybe the service centre with the least manpower.
If you really know their operation and any of the staffs there, you will even pity them.
I know that their technical staff (Mr Tan) hospitalised recently, and the whole thing jammed. I believe he is still clearing the backlog accumulated in that period.

well, well, the price of any electrical/electronic item has got the warranty built-in. So, pay more to get sterling service centre. I have not seen the Fuji one, but I have got some idea.

For example, the Nissan service centre is like the lobby of a 2* hotel, whereas, the Toyota SC is like a 4* hotel. I suppose the service centre for Mercedes Benz should be like a 6* hotel although I haven't stepped into it.:bsmilie:

So far, I haven't been to the service centre of any camera brand yet, consider myself lucky la.

As for notebook computer, I got to see the service centre for Lenovo, both the Ideapad and the Thinkpads - very fast and efficient service. For some items, they do it on-the-spot while you wait. Total time spent, waiting plus travelling time in something like 120mins!

As for the HP SC at Alexandra, there is always a queue of 10 to 20 customers there and you have to come back a few days or more to collect. Very inconvenient.

Hi anyone seen stocks for this camera in any stores in Singapore? Mine just died on me, it's stuck on startup and the zoom lens can't extend fully and my warranty is over -What rotten luck!:(
I've called Harvey Norman but they claim not to have anymore stocks. Haven't tried places like MS Colour, but I suppose there would be less possibility of me finding the F200exr there):

Thanks a lot guys!!

Strange thing is that my camera suddenly started working yesterday, but I think I'll buy one to standby in case the camera goes crazy during a trip overseas. Wouldn't want to feel regret throughout the trip while other people are snapping pictures crazily.
