Fuji X10, so pretty!

Hi x10 users. Can recommend me a filter that fit nicely into the lens with the lens cap still able to cover on it. TIA. Cheers.

get the one from Marumi, 40mm. I used it before on my ex-x10 and the cap still fits over it.

Ok. Thank you. Are you using x20 now? Cause is not much change from x10.

Great to hear that. I had placed order for one with reddotphoto. But after payment they called & said no more stock available for nisi.. as you can see from the link. It is still available. Now I feel cheated..
Now they offering me chromage filter which I don't really like. But I have to use it for a event next week. Even if I ordered online it wont be able to make it by next week.

Yup , using the x20 :)
Eh , honestly I thought the difference were minor but u should try the x20 , the improved IQ and faster AF with the new sensor plus the improved EVF is more than enough for me to change

Think it's not very ethical to do so. It should be offer but u can choose to decline and get back your money.

I think I still have the filter, I'm using the hood set mainly so the filter been just sitting there in the dry cabinet. If u r interested , can PM me or SMS at 82016468. :)

Is ok. They offer me a chromage instead.

Not for the moment. Maybe will consider nd filter.

Just collected my 2nd hand X10 from another CSer. Great camera. Bought the Nisi DW1 filter for it too. Now have the filter and the original hood attached. No need for original lens cap. I find this the best way for not loosing the original Fujifilm metal cap.

Been playing the camera for a while & notice this problem. Is it a bug? When i set my camera in manual mode with manual focus. As you can see in the video. When i turn the knob it auto zoom to the subject, when i press shutter again it auto zoom out.

I dont see why it is a bug. during MF, the center AF point (if enabled) will zoom in to aid better manual focusing and will zoom-out if left untouched for sometime.

when u half press the shutter, you are telling the camera to meter (and lock the AE) the scene and of course the camera needs to meter the entire zoomed-out image rather than the zoomed-in portion.

but how come when i'm playing with the sub command dial. It auto zoom in?

it is zoomed-in to help you to visualize where is the exact focus point. if you find it irritating, you can turn that off in the settings menu.

most cameras including DSLR with live-view modes will implement this zoomed-in when MF is used, the newer ones (like the X20) has this focus-peaking function to indicate where the point of focus is at.

Do you people shoot with IS on or off, under any circumstances? I recently tried low light shoot with IS continuous + shooting. It turn out to be a bit blur. Wondering am I having a shaky hand.

IS prob turned off only when u r using a tripod. In low light , I'll definitely be using M of A mode and maximize my aperture but this really depends on what were u shooting

Didn't use tripod because was inside a graduation ceremony.
