NDividualistic said:anyone receive any call from Fujifilm Singapore yet, abt changing the sensor?
hey guys, I got poison by this fuji x10!!! gonna get it soon! this weekend!.
btw can I ask? how do I check for the ORB issue?
and when will this ORB appear?
thanks for the helps guy!!
Anyone?
Anyone?
hmm, not sure when they will replace all current stock, so even if u wait a while, u might not be sure if its got new sensor or not. fuji has not issued a recall, so current stocks might not get new sensor. not sure how it works. i'd recommend just buying it now, and replacing it when fuji says its available. of course thats wat i recommend coz thats wat i did. lol
rainman, here u go. i think its a weird thing on mine. lol. not a normal one. its not usually this complicated, i watched a video review where the guy had a normal charger, without this stupid block. will head over to the shop n get it exchanged, or get the part removed. frustrating thing is, cant use it til then.. they recommend a full charge before using, right

point it at any concentrated light source and take a foto.
you should see that it will exhibit the legendary X10 light orbs.
unless it is the latest and newest X10, even so, not sure if FujiFilm has fully rectified the problem.
regardless, just buy it with the perception that all X10 will have the light orbs issue.
normal Day is fine... bt at night time, the prob (orbs) will surface. if u want to see whether the x10 u getting have this prob, get it during nite time and test shoot at concentrated ligh source (as mention by Cheesecake) or long expsoure at iso 100, 200... you will likely see it. then decide whether u can live with it till the replacement of the sensor![]()
as long as it is a strong concentrate source of light, yes, it will appear.don't intend to do long exposure, but will be shooting at night, maybe will push the iso to 1600? and flash, will the orb come out?
as long as it is a strong concentrate source of light, yes, it will appear.
you do not need long exposures to achieve the light orbs.
oh! ok, so i will just have to avoid those light source...
hmmmm try to la. hahahahahaa
