I saw that the harvey norman is selling 2x8gb with screen protector, case, extra battery and mini tripod... Seem like it is a good deal, given the price is controlled by fujifilm... Though I don't bother about the mini tripod ... I wonder are they giving the original case from fujifilm or not... Free battery is a plus for me..

the original battery cost $60. if they are giving that, then will be great.

Very tempted to get one but not convinced by the premium price now.. The Nikon J1 with 2 kit lenses seems like a better deal when compared to the $900 price-tag now.

just get a battery which is the same as NP-50 battery. most of the shops should have it.

I bought 1 at SLR Rev. at $7 each with 1 year warranty. Brand "REVO", FNP-50, 3800mAh.
Not bad at that price with warranty.

You referring to x10 battery? 3800mah capacity seems unreal for a x10 battery, which is only 1000mah.

Most of the third party batteries overstate it... Some by a little, some by a lot.

For the price paid it shouldn't matter as long as the camera doesn't go off in flames.
