Yes! $223 as I had asked the friendly counter staff on Thursday but currently they ran out of stock for Fuji mount. =/

Where is the cheapest to buy this?

U can try asking the funan shops , it's just a phone call away. we aren't customer service here :) some other forum groups here won't even be bothered to answer.

Anyway , 4th floor shop at funan.

I just got my hands on one. May I check with the other owners if your flash compensation dial is quite filmsy or loose? Mine is and feels like it could be accidentally shifted easily.

Just got one
Very ergonomic n intuitive !!! Good value for money

Here are some product shots (taken with my iPhone 6) of X-T1 GS with the Nissin i40 flash. Nissin i40 has a very compatible size and design for the X-T1.

Earlier on, I was commenting that I found the power dial rather loose and easily shifted accidentally. I have since checked with another unit at another retailer and realize that it is the same and the power dial has a lack of friction/resistance when rotating. Personally, I wish it could be tighter to avoid accidental shifts.

I have an event in a low light venue this Friday and will be able to put the flash to real world test.

Nice, maybe can try some video light review too.. Thanks

Video light function is just like the mount on video light that event and news videographers use on their video cameras. As it is just two LED bulbs, the angle of beam is rather narrow and the lighting is rather hard. It is not meant to replace proper video lighting.

I just used the flash for a low light event last thursday. The auto white balancing with i40 on is off when i tested a portrait shot. Otherwise works pretty normally just like any other flash.

I am quite shocked though that the flash doesn't work in CL or CH burst drive mode. Granted, this is a Fujifilm issue and not nissin's. But I must say I am quite disappointed since my old Nikon and Canon can do it. I didn't realise this when I get into the Fuji system. So I was panicking a little when I couldn't get the flash to fire when the event has started. Fuji really really need to work on its flash capability.

i bought this flash for my XT1 .. im just curious... when im using the flash .. the EVF preview / histogram is not showing the exposure with flash .. its still underexpose but when i fire the flash .. photo exposure is fine... is it really like this or im missing some settings? im using TTL on flash ... Full manual on the body.
sorry im quite new on fuji..

when i see the settings used.. it says forced flash.
is it possible to see the exposure preview with the flash so that i will know if my shot is going to be well expose or not.?

That is because you are in the Preview Exp. in Manual Mode. Go to the Screen Set-up menu to off the it.
