My suggestion is for children just buy the cheapest one loh.....which is the 7S abt $119 depend on the colour. Instax is around $155.
7S is heavy but using 4AA battery, 55 should be using the lithium battery which cost $7.50 x2pcs but it will be lighter loh.

The same website got the non rechargeable one, panasonic brands.
There no way for pple to sell u at below $10. If want <$10 maybe if my 20pack of film till expired n I still haven finish it, maybe u got a chance.
The film is getting more n more expensive u can check at the fujifilm store. Even ic on the net is cheap after shipping cost it become expensive.

It really up to u, basically the design is different. The rest of the spec is similar in term of the hardware. I think 55 or 50 one of them got self timer n one got 2 shot function.

Yes, most Photoshop n electrical shoo like best denki. I dont think u need to buy one if u just got your camera. Fujifilm say it can last for 30pack b4 u need to change battery.

i saw some online photos and i realised the backgrounds in the pics are mostly quite dark. for those who own a 7s, could you confirm/clarify if all the backgrounds will be dark?As i'll be using it for my overseas trip, would it be advisable to use it to take pics of scenery with people? would it turn out to be dark? how about taking pictures of people in a room? i understand that the flash is always on, so if you take a photo standing close to the camera your face'll appear righter? please correct me if i'm wrong cos i'm a newbie/noobie in photography.

Not only instax 7s, even digital camera it the same........if indoor, u use flash the subjectis brighter than the background. If u outdoor, whether the flash is on or off everything is bright unless at night.

For other model, the setting is auto so u can't do anything on the exposure setting.
For 7S, u need to set indoor outdoor sunny day etc........so if u outside and sunny but u set indoor the photo willl come out dark. if u outside sunny but u still set cloudy mode the photo will come out brighter as some pple like to be brighter.

Before u buy, don think only of the price. You need to consider will u use it often? If due to bulky, abit ugly, abit heavy, troublesome manual mode setting and u regret later then u better think again.

Example:
7S
- $139
- Bulky, heavy
- 4xAA size battery
- no self mirror
- manual setting

25
- $220
- Lighter, square size
- 2XCR2 lithium battery ($7.50 x 2)
- with built in self shoot mirror and close up len
- Auto
- can in small pouch, easy to bring around

Where u bought your instax? no warranty?

I traded my 7s for a 55i which failed me after a pack of films so it's with them again. I got my Instax secondhand off Clubsnap for $55 about two years ago. Do they come with warranty if I buy it off the shelves?

Local stock from fujifilm Singapore come with 1 yr warranty. Oversea stock selling at blog etc they don't honor buyer warranty. But my supplier do give me 1yr warranty for japan, korea, Singapore stock. But shipping cost do apply as you need to ship back japan n korea and a new set will sent to u.

you just have to key in the "polariod albums" and "carrying case" in google and there are plenty of pple selling it.

The album that i posted in the 1st page, i have purchase all the colour and help some of the pple here to purchase it, but unfortunably the seller no longer sell this brand of album. you still can find similar one but quality is diff.

Hello, thinking of getting a polaroid camera as a gift for this coming v-day.

The mini 25 seems to be a better option since my SO will probably fuss with the manual settings on the 7s.

Does anyone know where I can get it locally? TIA
