FTS - What the A77 should have

Was just looking at the pictures of the Sony's Advance Model (A77) and realised that the selection dial does not shows a Sweep panarama mode ! :o

...I certainly hope it has that feature ! ...it's useful and works well as I review the sweep Pana shots taken by my A55 !

If EVF is used, It must

1) have no lag, shot to shot
2) usable under low light conditions, comparable to OVF
3) have low power consumption
4) be able to resolve fine details

Personally I'm those that still prefer an OVF, mainly becos its simple, it works, efficient(dont consume power), its clarity, ruggedness and reliability. Elegant solution to a problem, engineering at its best.

Sony has mentioned that is a prototype and some changes will be done for the release.

You also did not see a LCD/EVF toggle button right?

Yeah, you're right ! :bsmilie: ...that prototype sample at photokina most probably to throw the competitors off track as to what Sony's up to

The LV/OVF/EVF toggle switch/button on the A500 and A55 is so different ! ...but frankly, I hardly need to use the button as my A55 has the activation set on auto all the time ...its really cool to be able to just raise the EVF to your eye and have it switch over and AF immediately.
