28. XiTang is another GuChun (old town) near Shanghai. Its larger than CiBao and there are more people there too. Got to visit here another time when its not May Day.

I recently went to Beijing and had grand visions of amazing photo shots. However I found the smog/pollution so thick it was impossible to get any clear shots. :-(
 

you need a bit of luck in Beijing photography. they are often plagued by red sand storms from the dry north.

I've been to Beijing twice.

So far, it was early and late November for the 2 separate trips and I've not encountered any smog or sandstorms so far.
