Hello folks.

Had fun last night?

Apologies once again for bugging out. Couldn't finish dinner early enough.

Well, some who said coming never show, however a macro enthusiatics "insects hunter" who didn't add his nick showed up. He showed his "insects" print....spider's skin, fly, ladybug...etc and shared his tricks on bugs hunting. He left early to join his wife and others for night shoot at Lower Pierce's broadwalk.

Kong Ping demo the wonderful power of portable remote flash and shared much knowledge about flash photography. He even brought a lightweight tripod that is able to mount flash & umbrella. When that was setup, a kaypoh waiter came over and asked what we were doing and reminded us that we are not suppose to take photo of their shop (i.e. Oilo Dome). He said something about "private property" which of course we ignored.

Later, one of the trainer waitress came over and started asking us about photography. She is a NTU undergrad and will be taking photography course as a subject in the next semester. Cute girl with nice smile. Should have taken a shot of her.

Kong Ping convinced me about investment in good flash. He placed the portable flash 20meters away, came back and triggered it to show the illumination effects.

Session end at 11:35pm.

I know spider has 8 legs...didn't know there are 8 eyes spider. Are those functional eyes or just decoy?

I believe all the eyes are functional. In fact, not all eyes look at you. Like the one below, if the eye is not looking at you, it's brown. Fascinating things, I'm still learning their behaviours

I'll not post anymore bug shots here since it's a Bishan thread I've OT enough as it is LOL
