Hello, let me first introduce myself...
I'm 21, currently in the ARMY as a Videographer. I have great passion in making shortfilms, my films have contended as a finalist in both last year Mediacorps' project pilot and this year Canon DV Fest06.
With my indepedent filmmaking exprience, I realised that just doing shortfilms alone wouldnt do it as for one, the budget will kill - As I am doing this as a hobby I do have to come up with my own money most of the time. With this I realised that if I can utilise my skills or talents along the same line doing event/wedding videos to generate alittle bit of allowance and at the same time cultivate my skills in videography would be a win-win situation - I have fun doing what I like, and at the same time learn and do something productive and also get some allowance.
I currently own a Canon-XL2, several home-made lights and I work very closely with a movie-prop-making company.
The URL below entails several stuff I did before, the better ones are the movie trailers as I spent more time on them
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=api7kRD05qo (Finalist Canon DV Fest 06)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwF1Wjyd_vE (Army enlistment coverage)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zixkza2faQc (Last-min farewell video)
Please feel free to pm me for full version of the films or more demo reels.
I have been a reader in this forum for quite sometime, and I guess its about time to start being a member..
I've read posts from people like Sundazz and JRC(Jangoh) who is would like to hire freelancers..
So please feel free to add me into your list of freelance videographers
Regards
