Havelock Square is where the Subordinate Courts are located, which is also where the Magistrate's Complaints are filed.
The police probably told you that you need to make a Magistrate's Complaint before they will do anything - they tend to do these for minor cases and cases which may not have a high prospect of recovery.
Let us know when you filed the Complaint, and better still, let us know if there's a magistrate even willing to issue a summons against the respondent in such a case.
What this means that if you dont file the Magistrate's Complaint and appear before the magistrate and convince him that a criminal offence is disclosed, the police will not do a single thing and your case will be filed as "for record purposes".
And before you start hitting the whole boat with proclaimations of immaturity, do state specifically which comments and why you consider them immature. Ambiguity will not do in a substantive discussion.
