Free Video Joiner Needed

Hey all!

I did some stuffs at photostory but i converted them to AVI format to play on my dvd player. However Xilisoft only allows 5minutes of conversion for their trial package.

So i was thinking of joining up this 5 minutes segments to form a flowing AVI file. i tried googling for them but it was futile to find a free one

any recommendations?

Vegas will work, but it will re-render the footage. A true joiner program will just copy the existing video data without re-rendering.

Unfortunately, the original poster doesn't mention what codec he is using, because joiner programs are usually quite specialised. AVI is only a windows wrapper, and covers many many file types from uncompressed thru DV, Divx, Xvid to MPEG4.

oic, hmmm... most probably u will need to re-render the video. Have you try virtual dub?

i want just a simple joiner. guess theres none right? im using the Divx AVI one as far as I can recall

So have you tried virtual dub?

You can try this one. It handles AVI, but no idea if it works for DIVX.
