Topics to be covered will be:
1) video formats - what is mpg1, mpg2, avi, mpg4, wmv, etc
video connection, rca, composite, s-video, component, dvi, hdmi, etc
hardwares for video captures for consumers, prosumers, semi-pro, etc
2) High Definition workshop - what is 720p, 1080i, etc
3) Introduction to Adobe Premiere Elements for beginners and Premiere Pro for prosumers
4) Networking and getting to know each other

The objective is to enable a beginner knowledgeable enough about video and video editing to know which camcorder to get, computer requirement for video editing, what and which editing card to get and what they can do, so that he/she can decide what to do instead of depending on others.

This free training does not cover filming nor does it cover broadcasting and professional video. It is suitable for someone who wants to make better home and holiday video or freelance/sideline on his/her own shoot weddings.
