Actually i'm thinking of buying some good gaffer tapes to gaffer my EOS 30 grip so what kind u recommend?

canturn ones are good, he does MO sometimes, look out for it.

ack, even the good gaffer tape leaves residue. I got ones from canturn and order some online.
yes all sticky ones however good will leave residue. You have to remove them once awhile, clean the surface and stick on new ones.

which one did you get? The toothless velcro? Normal velcro has one tooth side, and one cloth side.

This paper hood thing isnt working. I tried using the velcro bit on my lens, quite difficult to rip off once its on.

i tried the paper hood on my 28-105. its kinda short for a hood.
