Hello snappers!

I've planned a trip in September this year to head do a mountain biking trip. We are doing a 7-day ride from Chamonix in France to Zermatt in Switzerland. We'll also be doing canyoning in Interlaken after our biking trip.

That being said, anyone been through this route? Anything to be wary about?

And also, I've been training and the weight of my gear really matters a lot to me. I've narrowed down to two lenses I'd carry. If I had superhuman shoulders I'd be carrying the 6D with 24-70f2.8

But I don't.

So some advice from those who have been hikers/cyclists... 24-105f4L or 16-35f2.8L?

I'll be carrying a gopro as well. So supplies, spares and camera all in a mindshift rotation trail.
