Foveon X3 sensor user thread

really n-i-c-e shots, bro pinholecam! the DP1M/DP2M/DP3M cams can still compete with the best out there in terms of resolution.

Thanks.

This camera makes me rethink what is a good camera.
So often we are caught up in the bigger sensor is better, fast af, high iso, discussions, that those attributes make a good camera.
But this camera has none of those and if I am willing to slow down and work to its strength, it delivers where it counts.

Often, when I need the best IQ, I need to do it slow on a tripod, stopped down on the lowest ISO, no matter what camera I have.
Those conditions are precisely what the dp1m works under too.

Anyone has an idea how is the take up of the DPxm series cameras in SGP?
Seems pretty quiet here....

Too bad for a system that I think is seriously underrated.

Thanks.

Liked...

But we can't prove how good the IQ is on web sized images:bheart:

Post some Lego pictures...:bsmilie:

Love the shots.
Do you keep the diorama as they are or do you fix them up when you want to take pictures?
I assume its done with the DP3m?

How about this full resolution image from the DP2M?

Awesome!
Is that a pano or a single shot?
Looks real wide.

Beautiful!
