The black and white shot is very nice. The feel of it... making me feel sad to see all this things of old fading away before our eyes...

Thanks Cliff,
Yes it's always sad for us to see old memories fading away slowly into oblivion.......it's even more so when the younger generation has no recollection what Kampung life is all about.

Well below are few Photos from the Past @ Pulau Ubin with E510 & 14-42mm kit Lens.

Taken in Salisbury, Uk. Scary?

Why the long faces? What are they suppose to be?
They look very sick, esp the girl, 2nd from left, front row.

This was taken in Salisbury Cathedral, very very old with lots of history. Being a not so religious person, I don't think I can explain what they represent.

I think I know what those are.
To scare the choir boys to sing nicely, else they will be turned into one of those statues. :sweatsm:

This is an awesome pic!

Thanks Cliff, it was as usual a very lucky shot as always when you are doing street photography....nothing is staged........you have to make do with whatever you have in hand. The light at that time was very poor ......I'm happy the integrated IS helps otherwise it could have been quite impossible to capture this kind of shot with this SG kit lens.

Portraiture with #1) 14-42mm and #2) 50mm lens.

u alwiz produce awesome pic... btw is the pot too heavy for the girl? her shoulder are falling... :bsmilie:

Loved the shot so much with the lady and the plant, I took the liberty to do a little DI work on it and gave it a more Japanese feel to it and took out the distracting elements... hope you don't mind... you have shot a really nice portrait... I just wanted to interpret the DI work from my perspective and share... I think it is interesting to share even in post, how we perceive and retouch on images. I will take it down if you feel offended.
