Its been about 3 years since the initial launch so i am guessing by now there should be equivalent models by the competitors.
Given a choice, is the Fastpack your to go bag or something else?

From Fastpack 250 -> compu-primus -> kata 3n1-33 -> TT SW HD.
So which one did u like most?

Those are just my backpacks... I haven't gone into shoulder bags yet, and day bags... *faint*.
I'm looking for backpack, and shortlisted kata 466i.
Any bags that are comparable and worth considering?
I saw vanguard up rise 45 or 46. It's good but it's heavy!
.THe problem I have with the TT backpacks is that they just simply do not offer the versatility of the Fastpacks. Sure they don't hold a ton of gear but by the simple fact of having a top compartment for my personal stuff means that the Fastpack becomes my go to bag for the majority of trips. It even has a compartment for a laptop (which more often than not becomes a slot to put documents and magazines...)!
I too have been looking for a replacement for the Fastpack, preferably one with a section to hold a tripod but till now, I have yet to find one that can compete with the Fastpack. If you do find one, please let me know!

My main requirement is I must be able to put a water bottle in the bag.
Photography is an outdoor hobby, besides studio shoots. How can I survive w/o water?
If I carry a cam bag that doesn't allow me to put bottle inside, it defeats the purpose
