Yeah...but if i were to shoot it with a 1:1 macro lens, i'd be shooting at 1:3 to 1:5 (guessing)...so at that low mag, and still F11, i'd be getting more DOF. Oh well

I reckon the 6-to-1 merging was quite tedious especially if done manually, but the outcome outweighs them to capture all images into 1 frame. Well done, Kurt! :thumbsup:

Thanks, Vincent. I like to be able to capture the whole zoom series...but not having a 1:1 macro lens (and the trouble of changing lens in the middle of shooting) makes me resort to photomerging. Not always possible though unless the subjects are cooperative.
