i believe that the phrase 'so so' i used would usually be associated with when one attempt to rate something as about average. or, a rating of about 5 out of 1(lowest) to 10(highest). of course, one's exposure and background in relation to the subject matter would play a role in the rating.

Care to share the "so so" all about? Feel free to contribute if you have some so so food photos as well uncle.
