Mac is still providing free wi-fi access in their restaurants. If you have problems access into their wi-fi, probably there's too many users. kinda limited. Or you could juz ask the managers to re-set their access point. (though got to wait 10 mins to re-enter)

Airport lounges is still via starhub access so must log-in... me doing that right now via my iPass account.

No lah... got meeting in KL this morning. Now back in S'pore again. Heading back to London on Sunday morning (25th) now.

BTW, confirm Changi Airport Terminal 2 Mac got no WiFi, only 4 PC for customers to use. Stopped by there for a quick bite before coming home just now.

actually all macdonalds should have, but depends if their AP down or their VPN down... all running 2x512kbps (1 public 1 internal) If i'm not wrong internet access is provided by piping through a vpn to duno where

if can live with 300kbps (obviously less in practice) throughput, subscribe to 3G data service using PCMCIA data card lor...pay an arm and a leg :bsmilie:
