Fluidheads with DLSR videos

Anyone using Manfrotto 3130 fluid head with 5dmk2? Any feedback on the setup?

Other than the 3130 are there other good budget alternatives out there?

Manfrotto just can't compete with cheap and good Japanese video tripods. Go down to G&G at Sim Lim Tower and take your pick of Libec or Video-mate tripods all for under $200! You will be amazed by the performance vs price.

Manfrotto does have some really nice fluid heads but they are not in yr budget. Velbon, Libec are more budget orientated. I suggest u drop by cathay as well to try the 501HDV head.IF u can increase yr budget a little for something better you will not regret.

For videography, do pick a tripod with a ball leveling and stay away from elevating neck type.

Yes I do have in consider half-bowl designs but those seem a little off budget right now...

I'm not making money out of video mainly hobby so I'm looking at most value for money for the time being
