Thanks Red Devil 7

Would you please lead me to some of the Masters photos you mentioned. If they are better than yours, then i must see.

I will go to our gardens and practice, but my old hands are not as calm as they used to be

hi RedDevil7, really nice macro pictures. Do u use any Macro lens attached to your G3? I read some reviews that says G3 's Macro is so so. But your pictures looks far beyond what i expected. :)

And can u share shooting parameters such as apperture setting, focal length. I once take some macro, but the results shows that some portion of the object is out of focus.

thanks.....

:p

Excellent macros shots u got there, reddevil7. Nice, vibrant colours. Dun mind share wif us your settings for the shots?

no macro lens used. i do have problems with certain portions being outta focus. i usually take quite a few pics of the same macro. cos it's really difficult 2 tell where i'm focusing with the g3. even with these pics dat i posted, u can c dat some of the flowers have certain petals blurred. juz have 2 keep trying 2 focus on the spot u want. then use the playback review, zoom in on the portion where u wanted 2 focus, n check whether its in focus. hope dat helps. anyway here're the settings...

1.Focal Length 11.2 mm
Exposure Time 1/160 sec
Aperture f/3.2

2.Focal Length 12.7 mm
Exposure Time 1/160 sec
Aperture f/2.2

3.Focal Length 7.2 mm
Exposure Time 1/200 sec
Aperture f/2

4.Focal Length 7.2 mm
Exposure Time 1/80 sec
Aperture f/2

5.Focal Length 20.7 mm
Exposure Time 1/250 sec
Aperture f/3.2
