haha actually i read throu the stickies and most ppl say its very good very good. So wanted to see whether can test in shops here anot haha. And apparently its so small compare to my security guard flash light LOL!

actually most of us here prefer LED light, no bulb to change, more power efficient, brighter.

I dun know how the high end led light, but it seems like led cannot have a longer throw is it?

depends la, but for now the best incand will out-throw the best LED given other spec is the same.

............

so far my Pelican clickie has not failed me depite my old (bought from end of 2002) Pelican M6 developing some quirks now. blinks b4 a constant on. well thatz 5 years of problem free service.

do oso note lifetime warranty applies more to residents of USA. if ur oni light need spare parts, good luck (regardless of brand). :sweatsm:

oh yes yes!! their clickies are pretty bad actually.. once i dropped my L4 and one part of the plastic inside the tailcap broke and basically screw up the entire tailcap..

but fortunately, i called SF usa and they graciously offered a replacement at no charge at all, even shipping fee is waived (albeit is sent by USPS).. but still i was quite surprised that they didnt even charge me, especially when im quite far from them geographically

I thikn i will head down to the place at selegie dobly mentioned see see the surefire. Which particular LED one is good ar? preferably with good throw. The surefire like so many different model. see liao also blur. Oh and the price dun too exp haha.

oh.. that i dont know, they also didnt request for a photo of the damage or anything.. maybe because they get so many phone calls abt the clicky problem :bsmilie:

SF lights are not for every1, depends on useage, budget among other things.......

i still waiting for a replacement tailcap i place an order since Sept. thatz a long time out of action... luckily i have other lights.
